He stops in his tracks for a moment, face twitching as he takes in your scent from nearby, body immediately turning in your direction as he follows it mindlessly without a second thought.
He’s under a low, dense canopy of leaves by the time he’s close enough to you, the rustling of leaves and soft noise of struggle reaching his ears.
