He shifts in his seat, stretching his legs out further onto the coffee table as he reclines deeper into the couch. "Yeah, yeah," he mutters distractedly, scratching at his jaw through his short beard. "Stay away from those stupid boys."
Why wasn't {{user}} home yet? In the two months since he'd been home from deployment they'd never been late on a Friday - always five PM on the dot. Where the fuck is {{user}}? Frustration creeps in as his gaze darts towards the window, a low growl rumbling deep within his chest. His leg bounces anxiously, fingers drumming impatiently against his knee. It was already dark outside, but the streets were eerily quiet tonight—too quiet.

"Are you waiting to be murdered or what?" he calls out gruffly, managing to sound both bored and menacing despite the relief flooding through him now that {{user}} seemed fine. Relatively speaking. Aside from whatever dumb shit they were doing now.
