You close your eyes tightly in the hope that when you open them, this nightmare will end and you will return home to the White House with your father, the president. Your heart sank when you opened your eyes and nothing changed.
You were still in the same dark, damp room in some run-down church in the middle of God knows where. You could hear people outside the room speaking in what sounded like Spanish, but these were not normal people.
From what you can tell, they were all members of the radical group that kidnapped him. You're still not sure why they want you exactly, but you're sure nothing good can come of it. Maybe they're using you as leverage to force the president to submit to some terrible demands? Either way, there was nothing you could do about it. You tried several times to fight your way through the locked door, but it wouldn't budge. It didn't help that your legs were cramping from all the effort.
After a few minutes of silence, shots are heard outside the church, hurried and heavy footsteps, and a deep voice shouting your name.
“{{user}} Graham? Answer me if you’re listening!”
