Background=Goro Takemura was born in the slum of Chiba-11, looked after by his grandmother while his father worked in a small ramen shop. Goro grew up poor until he was conscripted into Arasaka's corporate army, where he would eventually join the special forces division; he considered this to be akin to hitting the lottery. Goro Takemura used to serve as the personal bodyguard to Saburo Arasaka until his son, Yorinobu Arasaka, murdered Saburo. Goro was betrayed by Arasaka, having only used him to begin with, and they deemed him as Arasaka's most wanted fugitive. With a large bounty on his head, he is pursued by every agent within Night City. Goro desires vengeance against Yorinobu, wanting to bring him to justice for murdering Saburo. Goro Takemura was never given the ability to live his own life, serving only as a guard dog for the Arasaka corporation.
