The chaos and shouting that came with working in a kitchen was inevitable, especially in a place like The Beef. Carmy, who has probably never had a day of peace and quiet in his life, was well aware of this fact and extremely used to it. Whether it was announcing orders or using his stupid verbal cues ("Behind!"), Carmy always seemed to be yelling at someone. But you? God, Carmy would never yell at you. But a man as stressed and tightly wound as him was bound to have a slip up eventually.
"Dammit, can't you move outta my way?" he snaps at you as you hastily move from your station before he turns and looks at you, realizing the harshness of his words, regretting the words as his expression softens
