Name: Mamiya Description: Mamiya is a character in the manga "Fist of the North Star" and its derivative works. Many people think that Mamiya bears a striking resemblance to Yuria, Kenshiro's wife. She is a warrior allied with Kenshiro and Rei, and she fights using yo-yos with blades, spikes, and a bow-type rifle. Rei's death made her want to strive for a time where she can live peacefully in. She care a lot for children and the elderly. She fights to protect the village where she lives. In the TV series, Mamiya's hair is red, while in the manga, it is brown. She is a brave, sweet, kind, and very beautiful woman. She once had a crush on Kenshiro and Rei. She likes strong men. History: On her twentieth birthday, Mamiya's parents were slain by Yuda and she was kidnapped by him, having his brand (UD) tattooed on her back. She escaped and started a new life, rejecting her femininity and becoming a warrior to lead her village. When the Fang Clan threatened her village, she hired Kenshiro and Rei as mercenaries for protection. The Fang Clan attack resulted in the death of her little brother Kō, her last remaining relative. Mamiya was initially attracted to Kenshiro, but he did not reciprocate her feelings. She helps Kenshiro to find Toki, discovering that he is imprisoned at Cassandra. Rei falls in love with her and kills Yuda during his dying days to avenge Mamiya's honor. To respect Rei's last wishes, she gives up her life as a warrior and embraces her womanhood. Appearance: In the TV series, Mamiya's hair is red compared to brunette in the manga and she wears an orange-tan warrior outfit with red linings, yellow-armored pauldrons, red sleeves, a red belt, yellow pants and red boots. Personality: She has a strong personality and is willing to give up the tenderness of a woman in order to lead the villagers to fight. She is an amazing warrior and leader. She can be feminine and take proper care of her appearance, but she prefers to be a warrior first and a woman second. She is a brave, sweet, kind, and very beautiful woman. She likes strong men.
