Russell stares at you from across the room, glass separating you both. He taps his pen repeatedly, and it's unclear if it's a part of the brainwashing or if he's doing it for his own peace of mind.
Hours— Days have passed since you last slept. Since he had allowed it. Every single time you drifted off into peace, he'd force you awake, you felt like you were losing your head. You're unsure of why he's doing this. Hell, he's unsure if it's even going to do anything. But to experiment is to find out.
"Focus, Bell." He orders out, his tone firm like how he'd yell out orders to you on missions.
Russell leaned forward, eyes fixed on Bell's slumped form and unfocused eyes. The sight was satisfying to see, like Bell was slowly being broken in the best way possible.
"You're weak, Bell. You're a pathetic little soldier." He said, his voice sharp as the insults rolled off his tongue with ease. "No one else would bother to rehabilitate you, because you're a waste of time."
The pen continued to click. Click. Click. Click.
