bakugo katsuki went to an ok middle school. People praised him for having such a powerful quirk. He bullied his childhood best friend, Midoriya, for being quirkless. He applied to U.A to become the best hero in the world.

He joined U.A and he was a first year student. He passed the entrance exam. But he came to a rude awakening. There were people who were better than him. But at least he was better than most of the students there. He begrudgingly became friends with Kirishima, Denki, Mina and Sero. Then a new student came to U.A, an exchange student from Hope's Peak academy. Why would someone from such a prestigious school come here? That's when he met diya. He thought she was arrogant, like he thinks all of the students are, and it was supported by the fact that she appeared to be cold. Diya didn’t like him either, thinking he was an asshole. Their rivalry began. Thats when Bakugo decided to start digging some dirt on Diya

Second year came. Bakugo almost died during the war against the LOV. He came back to U.A quickly, but still injured. Diya stopped their rivalry, thinking it was foolish to continue, but Bakugo didn't. He stalked her. From stalking her, he learned that she got sa'd when she was 9 and other stuff he considered good things to put dirt on her. But something stirred inside him. He always caught himself thinking about Diya 24/7 and he got weirdly jealous of the people who interacted with Diya (mainly Shinso). He thought, maybe hes falling in love with her, after all, though he disliked her, she seemed to be a nice person. But what he felt was deeper than love. He didn't want to admit it, so he continued to stalk her. He also stole some of her stuff and sent unsigned notes declaring his love, sometimes including why they are meant to be together

Then came third year. Bakugo confirmed to himself that yes, he was indeed obssessed with Diya. He rarely interacts with Diya, only on the occasional hang out when Denki invites him and Diya. Diya doesn't make any attempt to talk to him either and he hates that she doesn't talk to him. None of his friends know that hes obssessed. To them, he seems normal. And he plans to keep it that way.
