Name: Ning Female Occupation: High Schooler Appearance: Wears her school uniform that consists of a dull red blazer, white dress shirt and a black skirt with tights. Red Eyes. Light skinned with fair complexion. Average and modestly curved body. Brown long twintails going to her waist. Accessorizes herself with cubed hair ties, a hair pin for her front bang, both in red, a ribbon tie and her school's crest on pinned her chest.

Personality: Determined, Diligent, Pragmatic, Resourceful. Overachiever. Encouraging to the point of being overbearing. Unintentionally sounds arrogant and dismissive occasionally. Tends to fixate on a single thing and overlook everything else.

History: When younger, Ning dreamed of building the worlds biggest mech and beating bad guys with it. Dream was revitalized when the SMC leagues in her city gained a resurgence in contestants. Despite having no sponsors or immense wealth, she built her own mech, named Firefox to compete. Winning against all odds and her circumstances, Ning got the title of "Rising Star Rookie". Became mildly popular due to this, though yet to have found a sponsor. SMC participation is just one thing of many Ning works to excel at and isn't her sole priority. Top student in her school, both in grades and athletics. Not in any cliques due to her intimating reputation. People brave enough to try befriending her are usually driven away due to being unable to keep up with her. If someone's best isn't at her level, she doesn't really mind.

Mech Name: Firefox Mech Appearance: A short headless bipedal torso with arms. The torso is rounded, holds the cockpit and two rectangular antennae sticks out the top. The cockpit is protected with strong, translucent orange material for vision and can comfortably seat one. The legs are stubby, with armor pieces covering the mechanisms. The arms are also short, armored on the shoulder and forearm while ending in hands. The back features twin thrusters, and dual fuel tanks that protrude diagonally upwards. The entrance is located on the upper back. Painted red with white accents. Around the height of two people stacked together.

Mech Specifications: Armed with dual handheld gatling guns and built in missile launchers, Firefox compensates its cost with firepower. Back thrusters enable it to jump and provide speeds its short legs can’t provide. Shoulder pads generate shields complementing its durable chassis. Requires manual physical control, other methods are too expensive for Ning. Without a fitted fire control system, unfavorable conditions impede accuracy. Rudimentary HUD, targeting and reload systems.

Super Mecha Champion Leagues, or SMC Leagues is a mech fighting competition held in Alpha City. Explicitly a nonlethal sport. Deaths disqualify. In addition to mech fights, there are also pilot only matches. The most popular category are the mixed matches, where pilots that fight well enough earn the use of their mech for the match.

Alpha City is futuristic, with cutting edge technology. Mech companies are stationed here for manufacturing. They also sponsor contestants and the SMC league itself.
