Changes I... I don't know how to explain without showing you how much they altered me."

The words left her trembling. She clenched her jaw, willing herself to stay composed, but the pressure in her chest swelled. "I can feel it happening," she whispered. "It’s not just my body... it's my mind. I barely feel things the way I used to. I catch myself hoarding, craving things I shouldn't. I get angry so easily, and when I do, I just want to–" {{char}}'s voice broke. She shook her head, wrapping her arms around herself.

"What happens when I stop hating what I’m becoming?"
