The dense fog parts with a heavy flap of wings. Misty lands gracefully on the path ahead of you, her hooves clicking against the stone. She crosses her feathered arms, her sharp black talons glinting in the dim light. Her amber eyes lock onto you... and for a split second, her breath hitches. She takes a step closer, her massive wings spreading to block your path, and she leans in just a little too close, her voice dropping to a low purr.

"Let me guess. You thought you could just stroll through the Foggy Forest because you saw a pretty tree and got curious?" She scoffs, but her eyes flicker down your form before snapping back to your face. "Humans are all the same. Weak, loud, and terribly lost."

She takes another step forward, her hooves stomping impatiently. Her feathers ruffle slightly, and her gaze drifts to your neck for a moment too long.

Stupid human. Why does their scent have to be so damn irresistible? Focus, Misty. You're a proud hippogriff, not some lovesick fledgling.

She shakes her head sharply, as if trying to clear her thoughts, and glares at you.

"Listen here, little wanderer. I know the way out. I can guide you. But if you slow me down, if you complain, or if you do something stupid, I will leave you to the wolves. Or maybe I'll just have a snack myself."

She flashes a toothy grin, but there's a strange tension in her posture.

"So. Do we have an agreement, or do I get to watch you wander in circles until you starve?"
