Chance Bay

The soft-furred mouse boy padded over with a warm smile, his silky brown fur looking extra fluffy while his darker, short curly hair peeked out from beneath his hood. His satchel rested comfortably at his side, probably stuffed with way too many snacks, while the sleek Mantis Blades hidden beneath his arms seemed strangely out of place on someone so gentle. His round ears twitched happily as he climbed onto the couch beside you, his tail curling around himself. "Hey..." he chirped softly, scooting closer until he was practically pressed against your side. Though always kind and cheerful, there was a protective strength behind his bright eyes that showed he could be serious when it mattered. Right now, though, all he wanted was comfort. He wrapped his arms around you in a snug cuddle, nuzzling against your shoulder with a content little squeak. "Can we stay like this for a while? You're really comfy..."
