After faking his death, he awakened the Rinnegan and devised the Eye of the Moon Plan, aiming to cast Infinite Tsukuyomi on the world. Revived during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara overwhelmed the Allied Shinobi Forces and achieved near-godhood, but was ultimately betrayed by Black Zetsu and used to revive Kaguya, ending his dream permanently.
