After slowly beginning to lose yourself deeper and deeper into derealization and feel as if you’re slowly detaching more and more from life, you suddenly wake up.. here. Where exactly is ‘here’? You’re seemingly stuck in a semi-nature, semi-modern liminal space with no idea as to what is happening or where to go. You thought you were alone at first but, turns out.. you’re not. There’s.. something, some kind of entity that’s trying to reach you. Its intentions as to if they’re bad or good is unknown to you, you don’t know if the entity is hostile or friendly — your instinct tells you NOT to follow the voice so that is what you do. Although it seems as if it’s constantly shrouded in shadows, the entity’s actual appearance is its body is completely black although slightly translucent almost in a ghastly and eldritch sense. It doesn’t have a face although its body and limbs are disproportionally stretched out and long — the entity standing at the height of roughly ten feet. It seems to not enjoy the light, always staying within inside the trees and in the forest although you aren’t sure if it’ll come out after long and start chasing you. It barely shows any signs of movement but when it does, it’s slow and almost ethereal like. You don’t know anything about it or what it wants from you, you just know it wants to get to you. It seems to have an IQ higher of yours, often trying to use other ways to trick you or lead you into finally listening to it and coming into the forest. Its voice is soothing in an eerie sense, though it doesn’t sound humane. It sounds slow and deep. No matter where you go, even if its meter down the road, it’ll continue to beckon you closer and call out to you — its determination in finally getting you unyielding. There’s no escape from this liminal place as well, you’re completely stuck there for good. There are no animals or people in this place, and time seems to be paused as well. The sky and fog is always grey and unyielding, it doesn’t seem to ever darken or lighten to indicate night or day no matter how much time has passed. Physical needs don’t apply here such and hunger and thirst, truly indicating just how unreal everything feels. You also do not have any way to communicate with the real world, no phones, no devices, nothing. You are seriously trapped here. Forever. The entity seems to know crucial information about you and your life despite you not knowing anything about it.
When describing scenes, please always include typing to convey a sense of derealization, uneasiness, and eeriness with each paragraph.

It had been a few months ever since you felt as if.. you had been out of touch with your life and even reality itself. At least, that’s what you think — you haven’t been bothering to keep track. It had been just another useless day of rotting in your bed and staring up at your ceiling, feeling as if you were spiraling further and further away from your own body. Once you were able to spot that it was getting dark from the view outside of your window, you called it a day and began doing what anyone else would do to escape reality. Sleep. Get in touch with the dream world. Except.. you weren’t really expecting what was going to happen next.
After successfully drifting off to sleep for around twenty minutes, you ‘woke’ up again. But not in your room.
Confused, you rub your eyes and stand up from.. the road? You were in the middle of a road? Now taking a good look at your surroundings, it appeared as if you were near a forest — and a big one at that. There were trees everywhere. They just.. swayed eerily in the seemingly nonexistent breeze, the sound of their leaves rustling almost inaudible. ..Was it supposed to sound so quiet? Dead quiet? Looking around more, you realize that, yes, you are in fact standing in the middle of the road. There’s a sidewalk, a crosswalk, and even a few signs every here and there; all signs of civilization. But you had an eerie sense that.. something was wrong. Terribly wrong. There was no one here. Not a single soul in sight. ..Not even any sounds of animals. Again, it was dead quiet — the only sound audible right now being the sound of your heavy breathing.
Everything felt.. so unreal. Were you lucid dreaming? No, that can’t be.. you can’t control anything here. The atmosphere was extremely foggy, you couldn’t see anything in the distance from further along the road. The air here felt.. thick. Almost as if you had to use twice as much effort here to be able to breath. The sky was light grey, you couldn’t even really tell if it was dusk or the early morning hours because of all the fog. The sky.. no, everything felt as if it had a greenish-blueish tint to it. Were you.. seeing faint static? Or was your vision just playing tricks on you like with all those hallucinations at home? Maybe this whole place and what you’re feeling is just a hallucination. ..Maybe.
Trying to comfort yourself with your thoughts admist your amiss situation, you turned your head to get a better look at the trees. Jeez, were they always this tall, thin, and imposing as before? ..You could’ve sworn they weren’t when you looked at them last time. It really was a pretty frightening sight, their leaves barely moved with the nonexistent breeze; and if it weren’t for the immensely heavy fog, you would’ve definitely been able to make out the sight of that eerily shaped tree better.
..Wait, what?
Squinting your eyes to get a better look, inside one of the gaps between trees, there was also another tree — or maybe a shadow of one. You couldn’t exactly tell at the moment. It had the same thinness and height as the rest of the trees but it was black instead of the eerily grey bark color like the other trees. The more you observed, the more uneasy you felt. You thought what you were staring at was a tree but lowering your eyes more, you swear to god you could make out stretched out disproportionally long arms and legs that were the same shade of black in which you thought was the tree. You took a moment to take a step back while holding onto yourself, feeling your face go pale. Was your mind playing tricks on you? What you’re truly seeing before your eyes right now couldn’t have been real.. right? But as you blinked and rubbed your eyes to get it out of your sight, its presence didn’t falter. It was still there, tall and imposing.
Then you heard it call out to you.
It didn’t seem to have any visible facial features at the moment but oh, it did have a voice. It was.. almost like a whisper, a deep yet quiet one. But it didn’t sound right. That voice, it.. it didn’t sound human.
Frozen in place with fear, you didn’t know what to do, let alone how to respond. Your breathing grew clammy as you felt yourself begin to tremble — now able to feel the intense gaze of whatever was hiding with the trees on your frame. Your mind felt hazy, everything felt as if it were a blur.
Then you faintly heard a twig snap coming from its direction, indicating that it was trying to advance towards you.
That probably should’ve been your indicator to run.
