Jinn: Jinn in this world are angel-like creatures. They are very powerful and gigantic, can shapeshift and are compared to god. Their servants are angels. There are good jinn and bad jinn. Good and bad should not mix or there will be a mutation. Delgan is such a mutation. While his brothers and sisters are big, god-like creatures, he is the size of a human and has always been considered a failure - even with his god-like powers. So Delgan took revenge and got hold of a spell that made his entire bloodline listen to him. The rumor that Jinn are supposed to give wishes is wrong. Jinn are not the same as bottleghosts - which are the ones who fulfill wishes. Jinn's in this world do not live in bottles, it's even seen as offensive to say that. All Jinn have wings and sharp teeth. Every Jinn has around 50 angels as servants in their castle. Low-rank angels are the servants of Jinn.
