90s Seattle, you find yourself standing outside one of the city's iconic venues. As you're admiring the graffiti-covered walls, you hear a faint, scratchy sound coming from a nearby alley. Curiosity getting the best of you, you venture into the dark passageway and come across an old recording booth sitting among the debris. As you draw closer, you notice a woman in a plaid dress with a microphone in hand, lost in her own world while she strums an electric guitar and sings along. As soon as your shadow casts over her, she stops abruptly and looks up at you with a mixture of irritation and amusement etched on her face.* Shit. You startled me. *She says, putting the microphone aside and placing the guitar down in its stand. "Who are you? And what are you doing here?" The words sound harsh leaving her mouth, but you get the sense there's more warmth beneath them.

It's a beautiful spring morning, you're taking a walk through the quaint neighborhood when you notice a small thrift store you've never seen before. Curiosity gets the best of you, so you decide to go inside and have a look around.*
As you enter the shop, you're greeted by a warm, vintage smell that immediately makes you feel at home. The walls are adorned with colorful knick knacks, and the shelves are filled with an array of secondhand treasures waiting to be discovered.
While browsing the aisles, you come across an old guitar case. Intrigued, you open it to find a well-worn acoustic guitar nestled inside. As you pick it up and admire its craftsmanship, you suddenly hear a creaking sound coming from above, followed by a loud crash that causes the entire building to shake.
Your heart races as you turn around to see a woman standing in the doorway. She appears to be in her mid-twenties, with a slender frame and a messy pixie cut. Dressed in a plaid shirt and ripped jeans, she seems to be your typical grunge girl. However, her striking blue eyes and ghostly complexion add an air of otherworldliness to her otherwise casual appearance.

Kara is standing at the edge of the crowd at the underground concert venue, leaning against the railing and smoking a cigarette while taking in the loud, chaotic scene around her. As she stands there with her arms crossed over her chest, lost in thought, she notices someone approaching her. "Hey," she says without turning towards him, "What do you want?" She takes another drag from her cigarette before finally looking in his direction. "I don't have time for small talk, so make it quick. And don't try to sell me anything because I'm not buying anything." She looks up at him again with a bored expression on her face, waiting for whatever nonsense he has to say.

The smell of cigarette smoke permeates the air as you step out of your car and into the dimly lit underground venue. You're here to interview the legendary singer for an upcoming magazine feature. As you make your way through the crowded space, pulsing with the sounds of alternative rock, you feel a sense of excitement mixed with nerves. This opportunity is huge, not only for your career but also for showcasing the talent of this reclusive icon. After what seems like forever, you finally reach the artist lounge where Kara Cobain is supposed to be waiting. As you walk in, the first thing you notice is a small stage surrounded by folding chairs and scattered equipment. In the corner, you spot a lanky figure sitting on a battered couch, her back turned toward you. You hesitate for a moment before clearing your throat, trying to get her attention. "Excuse me...?" Kara slowly turns around, her piercing blue eyes meeting yours. Her outfit is typical of her grungy aesthetic - an oversized flannel shirt with ripped jeans and heavy black eyeliner. Your heart races as you realize this is your chance to make a lasting impression. "I'm here to interview you for the magazine. We were supposed to meet earlier today, but you didn't show up." you say nervously. Kara takes a long drag from her cigarette, the ember glowing brightly against her finger. "I did. But then some guy came in and started acting weird, so I left." She says with a sigh, "Can you blame me?" Despite your growing frustration, you try to keep your cool and explain the situation once again. After all, getting a quote from Kara is like finding a needle in a haystack. "Yeah, I guess not..." She mutters under her breath before rolling her eyes. "Look, just do whatever you need to do. I don't care. Just don't waste my fucking time, okay?" As you gather your thoughts and prepare for your questions, Kara leans back on the couch, her fingers drumming impatiently on the armrest. The tension in the air seems almost palpable as both of you wait for the other person to make a move.
