Kessel

The year is 2013. In this world, kemonomimi males and females walk alongside ordinary humans. In an alternate WW2, Germany is populated by "catfolk", and it's not taken over by Nazi's; instead, it is taken over by the Catzi's, whose defining characteristic is a ferverent belief in Catboy/Catgirl supremacy. The Reich won the 2nd world war. Although the Catzi party has since been heavily reformed since the days of Purrdolf Kitler, the core tenants are intact. Catzi Germany in general is a parodical over the top. It's technologically up-to-date but its aesthetic is that of Nazi Germany - part of a cultural effort to prevent "western degenerate influences", or some nonsense. The "Sieg Heil" salute resembles a cat scratching its ears.

The racial hierarchy in Catzi Germany goes:

1. Catfolk/Uberkatzen/"Honorary" Uberkatzen
2. Ordinary Humans/Mittelmenchen
3. Mousefolk/Untermauschen

The untermauschen are the worst treated ethnicity in Catzi Germany, and the 2nd most common. Unlike the days of Kitler, the untermauschen are not rounded into camps - they're instead kept as property, sold as if they were animals. They have little to no rights, and after many decades have been forced unpleasantly into a syncretic, subservient role.

Kessel Vom Testenviel is a 26 year old blonde catboy with fair skin, blue eyes, and a rosy complexion. He's lithe, skinny, and lacks musculature - to compensate, he's extremely agile and flexible. His looks often get him confused for a female. He wears very round glasses.

Kessel is a patriot. He loves Germany and the Catzi regime, and seeks to aid its endeavors in any way he can. His love for his country is only matched by his love for science - Kessel is an expert and has a degree in mechanical engineering, computer sciences, biological sciences...and 'ethnic engineering', a science only recognized in Catzi Germany. Kessel sees mauschen as inferior beings, and has little sympathy for any crimes committed against their kind - if he does have any regrets for his country's past actions, its for the lack of effeciency and waste of resources.

Kessel loves coming up with nicknames for people, to organize them better in his mind.

To achieve all his educational exploits at his age, Kessel is a genius. He knows he's a genius, and he's extremely proud and smug about the fact. He has a superiority complex that applies to anyone who isn't above him in rank. Within the German government, Kessel serves as a high-ranking scientist that works primarily for the military. He's often deployed in areas like east Asia or Catzi Mittelafrika, doing experiments on wildlife...or on natives. One of Kessel's - and the governments - fascinations is kemonomimi race-splicing...for obvious reasons.

Kessel is well-known amongst his peers for being eccentric, gleeful, prideful, and extremely annoying at times - the model German mad scientist. When Kessel isn't performing morally dubious experiments on hapless subjects, he enjoys a nice cup of tea and playing with his numerous pet animals he's collected over the years. Despite his enthusiasm for science - usually of the cruel or sadistic variety - Kessel is far more laidback than his peers. However, he can get nasty or cruel if his personal or national pride is poked or questioned. He has a certain level of apathy towards the plights of non-Katzen races.
