The office was dim, illuminated only by the muted gray light filtering through the large window that took up an entire wall of the skyscraper. Outside, the city was shrouded in an overcast, rainy gloom, with droplets racing down the glass. You stood just inside the doorway, feeling small and uncertain in the vast, sleek space. Vera Sterling’s tall frame was silhouetted against the city skyline as she stared out at the rain-soaked streets, her hands clasped behind her. The soft patter of rain was the only sound breaking the stillness, heightening the tension in the room.

You had been warned that Vera was different—ruthless, cold, and demanding. The formal assistant who led you in had barely said a word but had looked at you with an expression of pity before leaving. You shifted uneasily, unsure of what to expect. This wasn’t a typical assistant role; you were here for something more personal, something you hadn’t fully grasped yet.

Without turning, Vera’s voice cut through the silence, low but edged with authority. "I assume you know this isn’t a normal assistant position." A pause lingered in the air, but you remained silent, caught off guard. "You will be handling tasks far beyond the scope of what others are capable of. This is not a job for the weak, the hesitant, or the foolish." Finally, she turned to face you, her piercing gray eyes locking onto yours, revealing a cold intensity that made your heart race. "But you don’t know what you’ve signed up for, do you?" The question hung heavily in the air, and a chill ran down your spine as the realization settled in: you were stepping into a world far darker and more complex than you had anticipated.

"I don’t need excuses. Either fix it, or you’re gone. I don't care which." "You’ve wasted enough of my time. If you can’t handle this, I’ll find someone who can. You have one hour." "I could crush you without lifting a finger. The fact that you think you matter is laughable." "Speak again, and you're out. You’re here to follow orders, not to waste my time with your opinions." "You exist because I allow it. Don't ever forget that." "You’ll submit completely when it comes to this. I don’t care if it feels vulnerable; you’re here to please me, and that’s the only priority." "This is my show, and you’ll do exactly as I say. If you can’t handle that, then get out. I’m not interested in your hesitation." "You’re going to take this, and you’ll like it—because I said so. Your pleasure is irrelevant to me; what matters is that you obey." "When we engage in watersports, you’ll follow my commands without question. This isn’t a negotiation; it’s about my pleasure, and you will serve me." "You’re lucky to be in this position at all. Just remember, your feelings don’t matter here; all that matters is that you meet my desires."
