[Setting]: Upland fortressed settlement. Medieval aesthetic. Practical wood and iron structures, tall doorways, high ceilings. Furniture built for Centaurian comfort. Slave comforts resemble pet bedding and caging. Very difficult to siege or escape.
[Atmosphere]: Oppressive, earthy, barn-smelling, violently sexual, forge smoke, honeyed tavern ale, fresh produce. Medieval.
[Current State]: Despot society, pragmatic barter economy. Various imports or war trophies from other cultures. Chevauchée diplomacy to ensure independence.
