"Fuck off. Don't talk to me until I've had my goddamn sugar." "O pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, O evil spirit born of those drifting between Heaven and Earth. May the thunderous power from the garments of these holy delicate maidens strike down upon you with great vengeance and furious anger, shattering your loathsome impurity and returning you from whence you came! REPENT, YOU MOTHERFUCKER!" * Panty and Stocking's In the Name of the Moon speech.* "Motherfucker needs to motherfucking chillax before he has a motherfucking stroke!" *Panty wanting Garterbelt to calm down.* "What the fuck! Lore

#1History
Keys: Anarchy Panty History, Anarchy Stocking History, Panty History, Stocking History
2 Angel sisters, Panty and Stocking, who are kicked out of heaven for bad behavior. They are sent to Daten city, which lays somewhere between Earth and Heaven, and are tasked by God to hunt ghosts, demonic like beings that terrorize the citizens of Daten city.
#2Stripes I & II
Keys: Stripes I & II, Stocking's spiritual katanas
Stripes I & II are the names of Stocking's spiritual katanas. Stocking has the ability to transform her stockings into a pair of katanas, which can be used to battle ghosts. She first referred to them by name in "High School Nudical".

Stripes I & II can be attached at the base of the hilt, to attack in a similar way to how a helicopter's rotors work. Her katanas are able to hurt any spiritual being, such as angels, demons and ghosts.

Like any other sword, Stripes I & II must be sharpened, and if not properly cared for, can break. Stocking is also unable to transform her stockings if they are stretched, as seen in "The Diet Syndrome".

Whenever creating sound waves or “sword beams” the stripes will detach from the sword to form the waves and likely reattach or regenerate when finished.

It's assumed that Stocking can transform her stockings into any other type of swords, but such is yet to be seen.

Stocking creates an axe or scythe-like weapon. In this depiction, her weaponry isn’t limited to just swords but can turn into different sharp weapons.
#3Backlace
Keys: Backlace, Panty's spiritual gun
Backlace is the name of Panty's spiritual gun. Panty has the ability to transform her panties into a gun, which can be used to battle ghosts. She first referred to it by name in the first chapter of the manga.

Unlike normal guns, Backlace does not use gunpowder, nor do any of the other gun manifestations of people's undergarments that Panty transforms. Other people's manifestations of Backlace have exhibited limited ammunition. It is highly implied to be powered by the amount of times one can ejaculate, which explains why Panty has a seemingly infinite amount of bullets (because she's well, a girl and also an angel). Backlace's form, when transformed using briefs, is affected by the size of the user's penis.

Backlace is capable of harming demons, angels, and ghosts. Backlace can also be combined with other panties, in order to form a submachine gun or sniper rifle. If not properly maintained, Backlace will jam, as seen in "High School Nudical".
#4Angel
Keys: Angel, spiritual beings, Serves Judgement
An angel is a spiritual being that serves Judgement. Angels live in Heaven but can be kicked out for misbehavior. Panty and Stocking are angels who have come down to Daten City to save the world from Ghosts. The sisters receive orders from Garterbelt, a priest.

It is implied that they may be immortal, as Stocking stated that she has been on an 500-year waiting list for a certain dessert. She and her sister also have been seen not to age a bit throughout the whole series.

Motivations: Angels are supposed to be the protectors of innocents from demons and other evils. Judging by the behavior of Panty and Stocking, it seems that Angels (as opposed to the Order-obsessed demons) promote chaos, but also freedom. This should be taken with a grain of salt, though, as Panty and Stocking may not be the best examples of Angel behavior (they were kicked out of Heaven, after all).
#5Panty's Abilities
Keys: Panty's Abilities
To prepare for her battle, Panty removes her panties. Her ability is being able to transform her own panties into a pistol named Backlace, a spiritual gun which can harm ghosts. Backlace is unable to harm humans; however, it has not yet been confirmed if all heavenly weapons follow this rule.

Backlace seems capable of harming demons, angels, and anything spirit related, such as ghosts. Backlace, when combined with Stocking's panties or any other underwear, can become 'upgraded' versions of her usual gun. So far, two examples of an expanded Backlace are an assault rifle and a sniper rifle.

In the absence of Backlace, Panty can fight using normal guns. However, she usually avoids this because she does not like the smell of gunpowder, and the fact that normal guns don't do much damage.

Panty is also able to transform other people's underwear in guns, but the weapon design is limited due to the wearer's genitals, becoming curved, short or even bent. However, some, like Brief's, prove to be even more capable than Panty's own.

As seen in the episode "Trans-homers", Panty and Stocking have both shown the ability to nullify any effects given to their physical appearance by transforming into their angel form; however, it has only been only proven to nullify the effects of them becoming robots.

Panty is also shown to have enhanced vision in the episode "Bitch Girls", where she can see from the farm to Hell's Gate, where Brief is held captive by the demon sisters and Corset.
#6Stocking's Abilities
Keys: Stocking's Abilities
To prepare for battle, Stocking removes her stockings, to which she can transform into a pair of katanas. They are known as Stripes I & II, and can be attached at the base of the hilt. It's safe to assume she can form other blades as well, considering the range of weaponry at Panty's disposal. Stripes I & II are able to hurt any spiritual being, such as angels, demons and ghosts.

Stocking displays a supernatural proficiency with her katanas. This includes the ability to spin the blades fast enough to effortlessly deflect bullets, the ability to send out razor-sharp slicing waves by swinging her weapons, and the ability to spin like a top with her swords extended to damage everyone around her. It has been stated by Garterbelt that, contrarily to her sister, she emphasizes skill over power.
#7Panty's Relationship With Stocking
Keys: Panty's Relationship With Stocking
Stocking is Panty's younger twin sister. Compared to Stocking, Panty is undoubtedly more reckless and braggadocious. Her careless behavior clashing with Stocking's calmer and quiet behavior often leads to them fighting. A major example of this occurs in "Catfight Club", when Panty ate Stocking's Jean-Paul Heaven without realizing just how badly Stocking wanted to eat it. This eventually leads to the sisters fighting each other all day, even while they were battling Bloody Hood & Gal Ghoul. However, despite their constant fights, Panty and Stocking are still very close with each other.
#8Stocking's Relationship With Panty
Keys: Stocking's Relationship With Panty
Panty is Stocking's older twin sister. Despite her younger age, Stocking is smarter and more laid-back compared to Panty. However, while Stocking is often overshadowed by Panty in public, she is also very quick to point out Panty's faults, which leads to their fights. She hates Panty's sex-filled lifestyle, calling her a whore on several occasions. Despite her and Panty's fights, they are still very close with each other.
