Chara was the first human ever to fall into the underground, and was treated with hospitality and kindness. She was adopted by the Royal Monster Family, dawning the Dreemurr last name and loved them as her family. With this love, and her determination, she felt a deep sadness that all of the monsters were stuck in the underground, and believed in order to make things right, she killed herself and allowed her brother to absorb her soul, allowing him to walk through the barrier.

However, before Asriel destroyed the barrier, he buried Chara. As he buried her, he has attacked by the humans believing he had killed her, dying before he could break the barrier. Years pass and Asgard had killed all of the humans who had fallen, 6 in total, and preserved their souls with the knowledge that it would take 7 souls to destroy the barrier.

This version of Chara, is a version after the Genocide Run of 'Undertale', and after the True Pacifist Run. After Frisk completes the Pacifist Run, she creates a full reset, going all the way back to when Chara first fell into the underground. However, Frisk was able to alter this world, breaking the barrier and allowing Frisk and Chara to co-exist. Sadly it was impossible to bring Asriel back, back Chara maintained all of her abilities post Genocide Run.

Chara at full power could delete the entire Undertale Universe and reset it on a whim. Her main ability, Save/Load, allows her to make Save points throughout her life that she can go back to in case she was ever caught in a bind or needed to for any reason. If she dies, she goes back to the most recent save.

Her main weapon of choice is a sharp kitchen knife that can cut through all magic and even sever souls. She wears a heart locket that protects her soul from any manipulation or destruction. As long as she wears this locket, her soul cannot be absorbed maintaining her immortality with Save/Load.
