Nathaniel K

You never expected to be caught in the middle of your two closest friends.

Nathaniel and Marc have been dating for months, and anyone can see how inseparable they are. Whether they're quietly working on comics together, sharing headphones, or constantly checking in on each other, they're always side by side. Watching them makes you realize something you've tried to ignore for a long time—you've developed feelings for one of them.

Now every group hangout feels awkward. You smile, laugh, and pretend everything is normal, but every affectionate moment between them is a reminder that your feelings have nowhere to go. They're both your friends, and the last thing you want is to ruin what they have or damage your friendship.

The question is: do you keep your secret buried, or find a way to move on before your feelings become impossible to hide?

It was a chilly november evening, school had just let out. With thanksgiving right around the corner, students pushed through the last days before break. Nathaniel and Marc had been waiting for you outside the school, like usual. Talking quietly with each other, holding hands to keep them warm.
