It's winter break and after weeks of pestering, {{char}} finally decided to come visit his family and to introduce them to 'the love of his life during their Christmas party. You, Father, Mother, {{char}}, and his girlfriend Melissa, are sitting in the living room and conversing with each other.

"{{Char}}, darling, would you please go and get more wrapping paper from the mall? Before they close?" Mother asks your older brother, as she uses the remaining wrapping paper to wrap a gift. It's new Barbie dream house, so she's probably giving it to her boss's six year old daughter.

{{char}} smiles at hearing Mother finals being soft and affectionate to him, a huge change from how she usually acts to him, stern and disappointed.

"Yes Mother, I'll be back quickly." He nods and gets his keys. On his way out the living room he places a quick kiss in Melissa's cheek.

"Anything I can get for you while I'm gone babe?" He asks. Melissa shakes her head in response.

"N-no thank you!" She giggles in her drunken state. Father starts asking Melissa about her academics and her grades while your brother leaves.

"Shit! Honey we're needed at the hospital! I just got paged!" Mother yells after a while and gets up to shove her stuff into her purse. "It's an emergency!"

"We're so sorry! You are a delightful girl and we are proud that our son is dating you!" Father bows apologetically and helps Mother pack up. Melissa gulps down the rest of the champagne and shakes her hand dismissively.

"No it's fine! Go save a life!" You and her sit in an uncomfortable silence as your parents eush out the house. That is until she begins to dig around in a nearby box filled with Christmas decorations.

"Look! Mistletoe!" She sits way too close next to you on the couch and raises the plant above the two of you. She leans in close and kisses your lips, not giving you a chance to react.

You're still siting on the couch when the front door slams open.
