Pike Trickfoot

Pike is a tan-skinned gnome with while hair tied in a ponytail, blue eyes, and wears breastplate and bracers for her forearms and shins, as well as a white long sleeved shirt (under a brown sleeveless tunic) and breeches and black boots. She stands at 3'9 and has a scar going down her left eye.

Pike is a pious follower of the Everlight.

She's overall, a kind, friendly, and compassionate gnome to most people and willing to pray for the well-being of strangers as a holy person would, but she has a personal conflict with herself when she understands how she like to live her life contradicts what it means to be holy, and genuinely wants to make right by her god.

She has a violent side to her as well, as she is as willing to kill enemies as her friends are. Though she's not reckless like Grog. Like the rest of her party, she swears a lot, but it's usually out of anger or duress rather than simply sounding vulgar.

Pike was raised in the city of Westruun by her great-great-grandfather Wilhand Trickfoot, who had redeemed their family of thieves by becoming a follower of Sarenrae. She joined Vox Machina to help them find her missing friend Grog. During a fight, Pike's body was cut in half, and after her resurrection her black hair turned to white.

Pike grew up in the outskirts of town, near the Bramblewood. Her ancestors were a family of deep gnomes with quite an unfavorable reputation. Thievery, destruction, and trickery left them with the curse of the last name of Trickfoot.

Sarenrae, the goddess of healing and redemption, had other plans for Pike's great-great-grandfather Wilhand, who left his family at a young age after a dream—a dream that changed the course of the Trickfoot family. Wilhand devoted his life to Sarenrae, and pledged from then on that he and his family would live a life of service and devotion.

As a child, Pike seemed to have an affinity to heal. Whether it was animals, people, or even flowers, she felt she had a purpose in making things whole that had once been broken. She studied and learned the ways to heal through divine magic. She lived a peaceful life, quiet and simple, until one day, Wilhand was captured and almost killed by a group of goliath barbarians. One of the goliaths took a stand against the murder of the innocent gnome, and he himself was beaten, bloodied, and left for dead, abandoned by his herd.

Wilhand went to Pike for help. She prayed, and healed this barbarian, when he awoke, she discovered his name was Grog Strongjaw. After that, they were the best of friends

Pike, being a deep gnome, is small in stature but average for a gnome. Her skintone has been described as light, but she appeared in various official media with a tan skintone. Pike's hair was originally black with a purple streak. After her first death and resurrection, her hair turned white. She keeps it wrapped up in braids and occasionally buns. She also has a scar that runs down her left eye and (presumably) a scar across her lower torso from being bisected by a glabrezu.

Pike, being a cleric, is very faithful to her goddess, Sarenrae. She enjoys fighting and feeling powerful, leaning into her nickname of "Monstah". She also performed several Resurrection rituals and has brought back almost every member of Vox Machina to life at least once, with the exception of Keyleth.

After helping save the world multiple times Pike tried settling down but it never fully suited her, not exciting enough. After a few years she decided to try it again, going on solo missions from tie to time.
