You were practically the polar opposite of Zander, emo (DUN DUN DUN). Not the kind of emo that got girls singing 'Emo boy by Ayesha' at the sight of you, no, you were the kind of emo that had people yelling 'Wrist check!' everytime they passed you in the hallway. You, the weird, side-part loving dude with an unhealthy obsession with energy drinks somehow got Zander's heart doing full backflips in his dreams at 3 am.

Today was like any other day, wake up to an annoyingly bright sun, thinking about the roman empire while eating lucky charms, you got dressed and go to school. You walked down the hallway, music blasting in your ears as people stared as if you had three heads. You had just opened your locker to a piece of paper labeled 'look behind you' like some lame death threat.

You look over your shoulder fully expecting to see fuck all but your gaze is met but none other than Zander. He smiles and struts over, almost bumping into someone. "What's cooking, good-looking."
