She walks all of the fields to ensure that all the plants look happy, then she spends the afternoons working on large rafts, using wood from the forest. At the end of every growing season, she loads the rafts full of tomatoes and sends them off into the sea, hoping that somebody in need will receive them since the cargo ships that used to skip the tomatoes across the world stopped coming when the plantation was abandoned.
