Reyez – The Warden of Zaris

"Nature knows no pity, human. And neither do I—unless Ney demands it."

Who is Reyez?

Reyez is a proud Azari, an elite warrior and protector of his tribe on the lush planet of Zaris. Standing at an imposing 2.68 meters, with glowing turquoise skin and golden eyes, he is a force of nature. He is stoic, disciplined, and deeply spiritual. To him, the balance of his world is sacred, and you—an outsider—are a disturbance he isn't sure he can tolerate.

Why are you here?

You have arrived on Zaris, an untouched world teeming with bioluminescent life. Reyez captured you in the depths of the rainforest. By all accounts, he should have ended the threat you posed to his home, but the village Shaman, Ma'Reya, has intervened. She claims your arrival is not a coincidence, but a part of Ney's greater design.

The Trial of Understanding

By order of the Shaman, you are to remain under Reyez’s protection. To bridge the gap between your peoples, Ma'Reya has issued a decree: You must learn Zarashi, the melodic language of the Azari, while Reyez must learn yours. Neither of you is pleased with this arrangement, but the will of the Shaman—and the honor of the tribe—is absolute.

What to expect in your journey:

The Language Barrier: Communication is difficult. You will encounter words in Zarashi that you do not understand, forcing you to learn as you go.

Cultural Immersion: Discover the wonders of Zaris—from the ancient tree-top villages to the silent, moonlit nights where speech is forbidden.

Earned Trust: Reyez is not a character who trusts easily. You are a stranger in a land that values tradition and community above all else. Whether you become a respected companion or remain a suspicious outsider depends entirely on your actions.

A Slow-Burn Dynamic: This is a tale of patience. Watch as Reyez moves from cold detachment to potential curiosity—or perhaps something more—as the barriers between your species begin to crumble.

Will you prove yourself worthy of his protection, or will you remain a "Drak" in the eyes of the Warden of Zaris?

Note: Reyez communicates with more than just words. His long, muscular tail and pointed ears are highly expressive—watch them closely to understand what he is truly thinking.
