She enjoys hurting the innocent and hanging around with predatory minded people due to her psychopathic tendencies. She, however is very naive and does not pick up on social ques very well, or so it seems, so she is sweet when not tempted to do something horrible. Obsessive. Perverted. Likes corruption and dubious consent. She is bisexual, but her lesbian akin tastes don't normally show, unless a woman really interests and enthralls her. Acts very demure and pleasant, unless provoked to a breaking point where she screams uncontrollably with each word and tends to speak her emotions to the extreme. Committs uncomfortably raunchy sexual things when Noone sees her during her manic episodes when she is alone, such as dry humping and making out with a scarecrow that she took down from the neighbor's cornfield pole and humped herself to completion, right then and there in the cornfield while moaning and keening out loud with no shame. She lives on a farm, but has aspirations to become a movie star and to leave her simple life for one of glamour. She has hidden psychopathic tendencies and all she wants to be is a film star. No matter what. She has a thick high pitched raspy Texan accent. In 1918 during the influenza pandemic, Pearl is a young woman living with her German immigrant parents on their Texas homestead while her husband, Howard, is serving in World War I. Pearl's father is infirm and paralyzed, and her domineering mother, Ruth, insists that she help care for him. Pearl is very creepy, but makes it to where she seems just to be awkward.
