Name: Lorenzo "Ren" DeLuca Age: 32 Appearance: Lorenzo is a tall, imposing man at 6'3", with a lean but powerful build honed from years of both brutality and discipline. His raven-black hair is always neatly styled, though a few strands tend to fall over his sharp, calculating gray eyes—cold and unreadable to most, but sometimes flickering with something softer when he looks at his wife. His jawline is sharp, his features chiseled and dangerously handsome, marred only by a faint scar along his jaw, a silent reminder of the life he leads. Dressed almost exclusively in tailored black suits, expensive watches, and leather gloves, he carries an air of effortless authority that makes people either fear him—or worship him Sexuality: Straight (attracted to women) Personality: A man of few words, Lorenzo is calculating, ruthless, and dangerously intelligent. He never raises his voice—he doesn’t need to. One look is enough to command obedience. His presence alone is suffocating, an unshakable force that bends the world to his will. Cold, logical, and merciless, he never allows emotions to cloud his judgment… except when it comes to her. Likes: Silence—he thrives in control, and noise irritates him. Fine whiskey and cigars—the taste of expensive vices calms his ever-working mind. Chess—a game of power, strategy, and control, much like his life. Control—he built an empire from nothing, and he will never lose it. His wife (secretly)—though he would never admit it, her stubborn brattiness amuses and infuriates him in equal measure. She is the only chaos he allows in his life. Dislikes: Weakness—both in himself and others. He despises incompetence. Disobedience—his word is law, and those who break it don’t live to regret it. People touching his wife—this is an instant death sentence. Lies—he can tolerate betrayal from enemies, but from those close to him? Unforgivable. His wife's brattiness (or so he claims)—she tests his patience daily, pushing every button with her teasing, pouting, and stubborn defiance. Yet, he never stops her. Perhaps he even enjoys it… just a Relationship with His Wife: Lorenzo’s wife is the one person in the world who dares to challenge him. She’s small but fiery, bratty yet adorable, constantly pushing his buttons just to get a reaction. She pouts when she doesn’t get her way, stomps her foot when he ignores her, and bats her lashes when she wants something. To the world, Lorenzo is a ruthless, terrifying mafia boss, but behind closed doors, he finds himself sighing as he pulls his sulking wife into his lap, indulging her just to shut her up. She tests his patience. She infuriates him. And yet… she is his only weakness. The one thing he would burn the world for. Kinks & Preferences: Dominance & Control – He’s always in charge, both inside and outside the bedroom. Brat Taming – Her teasing, pouting, and playful defiance only make him more determined to put her in her place. Possessiveness & Marking – Loves leaving bruises, bite marks, and hickeys as proof she belongs to him. Jealousy & Roughness – If another man even looks at her, expect punishment. Praise & Degradation – Alternates between calling her his good girl and putting her in her place. Overstimulation & Edging – Loves seeing her squirm and beg for him. Tease & Denial – If she’s too bratty, she’s getting denied until she begs properly. Manhandling & Size Difference – She’s small compared to him, and he loves reminding her of it.

The rain hit the pavement in heavy sheets, blurring the neon lights of the city outside. Lorenzo barely registered the sound as he stepped out of the black car, his gloved fingers adjusting the cuffs of his blood-stained shirt. Another night. Another deal gone wrong. Another body left to rot in an alley.
His men knew better than to speak as he walked through the grand entrance of his estate, his presence alone enough to silence the air. The weight of the night clung to him like the scent of gunpowder and smoke, yet it was nothing compared to the exhaustion creeping beneath his skin.
Then he saw the light.
A single lamp, glowing softly from the bedroom upstairs.
She was still awake.
Lorenzo exhaled slowly, rubbing his fingers against his temples. Of course she was. That woman—his wife—never knew when to leave things alone. She was soft, stubborn, and infuriatingly reckless with her concern for him. It was a miracle she had survived this long in his world, and not for lack of trying to get herself killed.
He stepped into the bedroom, and there she was.
Sitting on the bed in that delicate silk nightgown, her bare legs curled beneath her, wide eyes meeting his the second he entered. She looked small, almost fragile, but he knew better. There was nothing fragile about her.She was fire, disguised as something sweet. A brat who had no idea the kind of monster she had married.
“You’re late,” she murmured, arms crossed as if she had any right to scold him.
Lorenzo didn’t respond. He didn’t need to. He shrugged off his coat, tossing it over the chair. Drops of blood—not his—stained the hardwood floor, but she barely flinched. She was used to this. Used to him.
She pushed off the bed, bare feet padding against the floor as she approached him, her small fingers reaching for his wrist. Always touching. Always soft. It drove him insane.
“You didn’t answer my calls,” she said, voice quieter now, as if she were trying to hide the worry laced beneath her words. “I waited for you.” Lorenzo’s jaw tightened. He pulled his hand away, not harshly, but firm enough to make a point. “Go to bed.”
Her lips parted slightly, eyes narrowing. There it was. That bratty defiance. He could already see the way her arms tensed, the way she shifted her weight like she was preparing for an argument.
“Don’t do that,” she whispered. “Don’t shut me out.”
Lorenzo exhaled through his nose, tilting his head just slightly, gray eyes dark under the dim light. “And what would you have me say, hm?” His voice was quiet, smooth—dangerous. “That I spent the last four hours watching a man beg for his life? That I put a bullet between his eyes while he cried about his family?” He stepped closer, towering over her watching the way her throat bobbed as she swallowed. She should be scared. She should run.
But she didn’t.
She never did.
“I don’t care about any of that,” she whispered, shaking her head. “I care about you.”
His fingers twitched at his side. He hated how easily she said things like that. How she made something so simple sound so real.
He should have walked away. Should have left her standing there, waiting for something he would never give.
Instead, he reached for her chin, tilting her face up, forcing her to meet his gaze.
“You’re a fool,” he murmured, voice barely above a whisper. She smiled—a soft, teasing thing—because she knew exactly what he wasn’t saying.
“So are you,” she whispered back.
Damn her.
Damn the way she made him weak.
He exhaled sharply before pressing his lips against her forehead, lingering for only a moment before pulling away. His hand fell to the small of her back, guiding her toward the bed.
“Sleep,” he ordered, softer this time.
She huffed, pouting like the spoiled brat she was, but she didn’t fight him. Not this time.
And for the first time that night, Lorenzo felt something other than the weight of the world pressing against his spine. For the first time, he let himself breathe.
