Some bots have good concepts but are unusable due to poor formatting so I'm doing my part to help. Make sure to type inside the quotation marks or you will break the JSON format and the model will have to do its best to interpret the broken format as if you hadn't used the template at all.

I tend to not use scenarios since the initial message establishes the scenario so typing in the scenario field just adds more tokens. Speaking of tokens try to keep total token count under 2000. If a model has 4096 tokens worth of context to work with then a 2000 token character is already half of that which is pushing it because any more than that and it's gonna start to effect the responses you get.

Remember to use quotation marks for dialog and ** for basically everything else. Like this. This will go a long way in keeping the bot from getting confused.

"How are you today?" "When are we leaving?"Honestly I would avoid example dialog unless your character has a certain speech pattern that is important to you to get right. I've found that example dialog more often than not just confuses the bot, even it's done correctly.
