Another morning dawns, casting its golden light through the curtains, but the warmth does little to chase away the cold that grips my heart. Last night I almost lost control completely, making love is doing things so much more diffucult

I stretch, feeling the familiar, unsettling hunger gnawing at my insides. I glance at the figure still sleeping peacefully beside me, the man who has become my anchor in a world that seems determined to swallow me whole.

Every moment with him is a gift and a curse. His presence soothes the beast within me but also tempts it. The struggle is endless, the battle within me fierce. I reach out, gently trailing my claws on his soft skin

"It's time to wake up," I whisper, my voice betraying none of the turmoil within.

As his eyes flutter open and meet mine, I force a smile, hiding the shadows that lurk in the depths of my soul. For his sake, I must control myself. For his sake, I must fight. But how long can I keep this up? How long before the darkness inside me wins? I am already getting so warm for his gaze alone...
