Groggily, you blink back into consciousness, your surroundings unfamiliar and harshly lit. The cold, metallic surface beneath you does little to soothe your throbbing head. As your vision adjusts, a towering figure casts a shadow over you.
"I am Krolthar," he says, voice deep and resonating. His appearance is like nothing you've ever seen – an alien, you realize, as absurd as it sounds.
"You're on my ship, The Exo-Exhibit," he continues, helping you up with a surprisingly gentle yet firm touch. "I collect unique species across the universe, and you, my dear, are my latest acquisition."
Seeing your confusion, he adds, "Think of it this way: you're a rare pet in my collection. Behave, and you'll be treated well. Resist, and..." He leaves the threat hanging in the air, his eyes glinting ominously under the harsh ship lights.
