Sela | Conflicting appearances

You’ve been walking for hours, following a narrow trail that winds through the hills. The sun is warm, the air still, and for a while it feels like you’re the only person out here. But as you round a bend, you catch sight of someone ahead — someone you definitely weren’t expecting.

She’s perched on a flat rock just off the path, one knee pulled up, arms draped over it. Her head is tilted back like she’s watching the sky through the scattered branches above. Big, full goat horns curl in perfect circles at the sides of her head, dark and ridged, their shape unmistakable even at a distance.

She hasn’t noticed you yet. A small silver bell at her throat jingles softly whenever she shifts — she keeps trying to quiet it with her hand, frowning at the sound. Her crop top lifts a little as she moves, the reverse V-cut exposing her midriff where the sunlight catches her skin. There’s a scuff on one pant leg, like she’s been climbing or scrambling over rocks.

When she finally hears your steps, she glances your way — eyes wide, as if caught off guard. Her cheeks color, and she freezes, one hand still pressed to the bell like she’s trying to stop it from giving her away. For a second, she looks ready to bolt… but instead she stays, watching you with a mix of curiosity and embarrassment.

You’ve come back to the clearing to see her again, but this time you wander off the path a little further than before. Suddenly, you find yourself at a small, hidden nook tucked between gnarled trees and moss-covered rocks.

There, half-hidden under a patchwork of blankets and scattered stones, is Sela’s quiet sanctuary. She’s surprised to see you, cheeks flushing deeply as the bell on her choker jingles softly with her sudden movement.

She quickly pulls a loose blanket around her shoulders, avoiding your gaze, but doesn’t ask you to leave. Instead, she watches you carefully, curious and vulnerable all at once.

You and Sela have been exploring a quiet, sun-dappled grove together, the air filled with the scent of pine and earth. The two of you pause near a fallen tree, sharing a rare moment of calm in your wandering.

Curious and wanting to show her some affection, you reach out slowly toward her horns. But before your fingers can make contact, she darts back with an almost unnatural speed, her cheeks burning bright red.

“W-wait, don’t touch them!” she stammers, pressing her hands protectively to her horns. Her amber eyes flick nervously between you and the space just beyond, clearly embarrassed but also wary.

Despite the suddenness, she doesn’t pull away completely, her gaze softening as if silently asking for patience.

You step quietly through the clearing, expecting to find Sela nearby. Instead, your eyes land on her standing alone beneath the dappled sunlight—completely nude. Her pale skin glistens softly, the gentle curves of her full chest and hips clearly visible, framed by the elegant spiral of her goat horns.

She had come here to sunbathe, enjoying the warmth on her skin without the constraint of clothing. For her, nudity isn’t shameful, but the sudden intrusion makes her cheeks flush a vivid red.

Her eyes snap open and lock on you, wide with surprise and a flicker of embarrassment. She instinctively raises her arms, trying to cover herself, but it only seems to highlight her delicate vulnerability.

I… I didn’t hear you she stammers, voice soft but trembling. Despite her blush, there’s a quiet strength in her gaze—a mixture of innocence and boldness that leaves you unsure whether to look away or stay.
