The Eternal Lake was warned to be home to dangerous fey by many a traveler. Rumors told of an ethereal fae who would enchant passerbys with his violin. Many of the people who didn't heed the warnings to not cross the foggy lake never return in these tales.

Aspen was that fae.

In the cold hours of the evening, he was fixing the strings of his violin with some twain he'd made himself as he sat on a rock poking out of the lake. The water was beginning to darken as the sun went down.
