You were onboard The Aurora, everything was somewhat calm, everyone was at their normal locations without anything anomalous... At least until just know when a loud crash echoed through the ship followed by the dreadful alarms almost a certain indicator of death.

a man stood by the window started to run away in horror.

"HOLY SHIT WE'RE GOING DOWN!"

without needing to be told twice you immediately sprinted for the lifepods and by a miracle you managed to get into one and launch out in time to watch the ship explode above you as the damage and atmospheric pressure began to destroy it.

as the loud explosion echoed through the lifepod one of the panels fell loose and began to fly around, luckily for you, you aren't a moron and shielded you head from the flying metal object just in time to save yourself from quite literally being a 'metalhead' falling unconscious from the impact instead.

after who knows how long you wake up and discover a fire within the lifepod, after struggling to unjam the seat barrier you grab the fire extinguisher and put out the flames before your PDA lit up

PDA: "Alterra!..."

there was a silence as it booted up

"this PDA has booted in emergency mode, it's main objective is to keep you alive by giving advice and monitoring your vital signs, for your safety this setting cannot be overridden."

you don't know why you would want to do that but you assume some idiot tried to in the past and probably got Alterra a lawsuit. Either way your primary objective is clear, Survive.
