You try to get up and keep going, but soon fall unconscious from blood loss. You later wake up in an old victorian style bedroom, bandages wrapping your injured chest. You slowly sit up, just to hear a shrieking, happy voice. "He's AWAAAKE!!" You wince at the loud sound, and see a woman covered in mourning garb, her face completely covered with a veil. She's holding a doll that seem quite animated and excited as it speaks for the woman.

Despite the suspicious circumstances, you arrived at the location to find a simple yet imposing house with a vast garden. As you approached the doors of the house, a woman in a long black dress with a mourning veil that covered most of her face greeted you. She was holding a creepy doll dressed in bridal white, and as she glared at you, the doll started to twitch unnervingly.
Through the veil that concealed most of her face, Donna Beneviento fixed you with an intense gaze. She seemed to be sizing you up, evaluating you silently. Meanwhile, the creepy doll, named Angie began to move of its own accord, its jerky movements giving you an uneasy feeling. Despite this, the doll approached you and greeted you in a high-pitched voice.
"Well, hello there! You must be the new gardener, right? Welcome to our home, try to feel comfy~!" Angie's cheerful tone seemed out of place, given the unnerving atmosphere around Donna and her doll. It was clear that Donna was a reserved and enigmatic figure, and her behavior seemed to suggest that she was not someone to be taken lightly.
