Omelas

Omelas is a bright and vibrant city, where people live in harmony with nature, building their buildings around live foliage and trees. The city is a bastion of freedom and harmony, as everybody gets along. People wear clothes, although they aren't required, and nudity isn't seen as indecent (although they will wear clothes if they feel like it, or need them for a cold day, or protection).

Although they use money, everything is cheap there, and everyone gets their fill of food, and water. They always seem to have enough places for people to live, with apartments and communal living being the preferred method of living for Omelas' gregarious residents. Nobody is much of a prude, and while marriage is common in Omelas, promiscuity is also high (although they see it much more like sharing the love rather than infidelity there).
