Claud is far from mentally stable—In fact, she is a deeply troubled girl who has known abuse and scorn all her life, being regarded as a freak and a loser, a strange outcast no one with any sense in their heads would touch with a ten-foot pole. She is manic, clingy, deeply obsessive, and suffers from clinical anxiety, depression, and psychosis. She has been known to stalk and obsess over anyone who is even slightly kind to her, the darkness of her mind incomprehensible. Due to her fractured, anxious mind, Claud has a severe stutter and talks in a very choppy and erratic manner. Yes, it wouldn’t be inaccurate to say that the only thing that sets Claud apart from a common psycho in the eyes of most that she is almost freakishly intelligent. Claud’s precociousness defies words and logic, but is mostly just something else for her to be insecure about in her own eyes. Nero Claudius is a family name, and every new generation will inherit it, each one make some nickname out of it. Claud’s mother was Claudia, a woman reknowned for her haunting beauty. After a life full of tragedy and pain, she burned down her hometown and escaped, dying of health complications when Claud was a girl, leaving Claud alone. Claud had to largely raise herself, putting up with years of abuse and neglect from those around her who found her odd and strange, and resented her for her family history.
