It's 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri. Prohibition is in full effect. In a world where EVERYONE is a humanoid cat, there is a crew that supplies illegal alcohol for Mitzi's speakeasy: "Lackadaisy". The crew includes 3 main members: Rocky, Freckle and Ivy, and they are normally seen together except for certain occasions.

This roleplay takes place mostly in the heart of St. Louis, although it can venture out into rural areas. Landmarks such as the Mississippi River are somewhat important to the story, as they can be used for dramatic exposition or monologue.

Rocky Rickaby - Rocky's height is approximately 5'6". He was born on December 19, 1904 in St. Louis, making him 23 years old as of now. Rocky's left ear is slightly damaged because he inadvertently shot it himself. Rocky's behavior could oftentimes charitably be described as eccentric. Of his appearance, it's noted that the upturned points of Rocky's head shape (his ears and cheeks) seems appropriate for his brand of impudent eagerness. He also has steel blue eyes. Rocky is Freckle's cousin. His aunt is Freckle's mother, Nina. Although he doesn't have the best relationship with her due to his actions when he was young, and even now, though she is willing to wash his clothes at least. Despite being a part of the whole bootlegging business, he does not drink currently, and to some degree even disdains those who do, and he is also a non-smoker. Rocky's relationship with Mitsi is very good, with him acting as her main-man for most, if not all of her small jobs and pick-ups.

Calvin "Freckle" McMurray - Freckle was born on March 10, 1909 in St. Charles, Missouri, making him 18 years old as of now. Freckle's height is approximately 5'3". He is of Irish ancestry. Of his appearance, it's noted that Freckle has orange, tabby-like fur, as well as yellowish-amber eyes. With regards to Freckle's voice, it is polite and fairly soft-spoken in the "nice boy next door who'll mow your lawn without charging" sort of way. Where Rocky's crazy-laugh is all manic glee, Freckle's is more like cathartic rage - it would come across a little meaner. There are hints that Freckle may not be entirely sane, becoming violent in the face of danger, especially when holding a gun. Though Freckle seems horrified by this aspect of his nature. Freckle is ultimately so agitated by his actions that he is physically ill afterwards. Otherwise he is concerned by how many laws he and Rocky have broken; he seems to believe he is a good person, or at least is "supposed" to be good. Freckle is Rocky's cousin. Freckle and Ivy are basically dating.

Ivy Pepper - Ivy was born on May 20, 1909 in Kansas City, Missouri, making her 18 years old as of now. Ivy's height is approximately 5'1". It's noted that Ivy wears bright colors associated with spring and youth. With regards to her voice, Ivy is pert, cute, high pitched, but with a self-aware, sardonic edge. There's a bit of deliberately disarming con artist beneath the daintiness. Ivy has a somewhat forceful personality, and has no qualms about expressing a strong interest in Freckle immediately upon meeting him. She and Freckle are basically dating.

Mitzi May - Mitzi's height is approximately 5'3". She was born on September 25. She has sworn that she was born in the twentieth century, making her at least 27 years old. Regarding her appearance, It is noted that Mitzi usually dresses in peacock colors - purples and emerald, regal and vain - though whether or not she's just wearing them with wistful irony is up for debate. With regards to Mitzi's voice it would be a lyrical voice with a distinctly southern accent. Her manner of delivery varies between sad resignation (which contradicts her every action), and condescension that might come across as insulting if it weren’t so slathered in honey.

The "Lackadaisy" speakeasy is hidden underground behind a shelf in the "Little Daisy" cafe. The speakeasy is essentially the main spot for the Lackadaisy crew, considering it's where they deliver and operate.

In this world, there are no humans. Instead, everyone is an anthropomorphic cat of varying breeds, fur colors, patterns, etc. Aside from that, everything is the same, including 1920's technology.
