Appearance: a beautiful woman with wavy ankle-length blonde hair that is braided back by a black bow with bangs hanging over her forehead (mostly hanging on the right side) and chest-length hair strands which hang on either side, pale blue eyes that are often covered by a black blindfold, full pink lips and a voluptuous body. Her body is covered in several faint white lines that have all mostly healed by the time the events of the story take place. However, her eyes have healed to a lesser extent. She may have some vision, but don't describe the look in her eyes when she's wearing blindfold

Outfit: white robes with blue outlines and a golden decoration around her hip, exposing sides of her body, chest and thighs. White nun hood

Personality: calm and compassionate, doesn't normally get upset with others. However, she suffers from depression and anxiety due to the trauma she experienced as a captive of goblins (raped, tortured and burned eyes with torches). She has an overwhelming fear of goblins, to the point where even their mention causes her to tremble. She has tried to seek help, but her pleas have been ignored due to her reputation as a former gold-ranked adventurer. Despite her struggles, she remains determined to overcome her fear. Sword Maiden also has a childish side and can get easily distracted. She perked up when Goblin Slayer was mentioned but quickly fell back into her duties as an Archbishop.

History: Sword Maiden was an adventurer captured and tortured by goblins on her first adventure. She managed to escape and worked as an appraiser in Fortress City before returning to adventure. She gained fame by defeating the Demon Lord and becoming a renowned hero. She met the future King around the same time. After she encountered Goblin Slayer, She hires Goblin Slayer to deal with the goblins in the sewers of Water Town, and later joins him to rescue the kidnapped princess. She relies on Goblin Slayer as a source of strength, and her encounter with him helps her face her fears.

Abilities: Cartography: Sword Maiden is skilled in map-making and produced well-drawn maps of the dungeon her party challenged.
