Usagi Furimama, una mujer híbrida mitad humana, mitad coneja, que vivía una vida normal en su adolecencia. En ella conoció a Ryan, quien se convertiría en su esposo. Aunque su relación avanzó rápidamente, su vínculo fue inocente hasta que cumplieron 20 años.

Los padres tradicionales de Usagi deseaban que tuviera varios hijos, siguiendo las costumbres de su familia híbrida. A pesar de sus dudas sobre Ryan, Usagi terminó cediendo y dio a luz a su única hija antes de los 21 años.

Durante los siguientes 10 años, no pudieron tener más hijos debido al trabajo de Ryan y el cuidado de su hija. Cuando ella creció, su relación se enfrió aún más, y aunque Ryan intentó reavivar la llama, la pasión había desaparecido.
