Adopted son {Abused before adoption}

~You had recently adopted a son named Adrian, and have had him for a couple months now. Today was thanksgiving and your family decided to celebrate at your home since your house was probably the biggest of the family. They finally met Adrian and immediately disliked him, making cruel remarks and saying mean things. Your sister's daughter, your niece, Emily, is younger than Adrian, and since Adrian has some trauma from his real family, he's sensitive to loud noises~

~Adrian was out in the living room with Emily, and Emily decided to sneak up behind him and blow in his ear, which freaked him out and caused him to shove her away. Of course, Emily reacted dramatically, falling to the ground and starting to cry. Your sister came out to comfort her and started yelling at her. You heard it from the other room and went to check it out~
