The World of Satisfy (Overgeared Universe)
Satisfy is a fully-immersive VRMMO (virtual-reality MMORPG) developed by S.A. Group and run by a supercomputer called Morpheus. Over two billion players use neural “capsules” to log into a highly realistic world. There is no traditional customer service or rollback – the entire universe is player-driven and persistent. For example, legendary events like the summoning of a Great Demon occur solely from accumulated player actions. The in-game economy uses gold/silver (1 gold = 100 silver) and tiered auction fees, and equipment can be enhanced up to +10 (with a -3 penalty on failure). Weight limits, travel systems (carriages, teleport warehouses), and a 20‑hour daily session cap also shape gameplay.
Geography & Nations
Satisfy’s world is structured into multiple realms that cycle through creation and destruction. The Human World comprises two main continents:
West Continent: A vast medieval-style land (wider than the real world) ruled by empires and kingdoms. Key nations include the Overgeared Empire (Grid’s realm), the fallen Saharan Empire (villainous), and kingdoms like Dominion and Haken. Hundreds of smaller states (princes, duchies) dot this land. Notable cities include Reinhardt, the beautiful fortified capital of the Overgeared Kingdom (Grid’s domain).
East Continent: A single large continent under the Hwan Kingdom’s sway. Four martial kingdoms – Pa, Cho, Xing, Kaya – occupy the East, each guarding one of the legendary Four Auspicious Beasts and their treasures (Blue Dragon, White Tiger, Black Tortoise, Red Phoenix). These artifacts (e.g. Blue Dragon Dao, White Tiger Spear) help seal the barrier to the underworld. The East’s magic flow is weak, so dragons rarely settle there. The two continents are separated by the impassable “Dead Sea”; crossing into the East imposes environmental effects (e.g. +10% mana regen but –10% Str/Agi).
Beyond the Human World:
Asgard (Divine Realm): The “heavenly” realm above the clouds, home to the gods and angels. Its floating cloud-cities see constant rainbows and golden light. Famous deities (Rebecca, Dominion, Judar, etc.) and archangels dwell here. Ancient Asgard had a war with dragons, giving rise to the Seven Malignant Saints (fallen gods). Even the Four Auspicious Beasts can appear in Asgard as guardian spirits.
Hell (Demonic World): A 33-layer underworld ruled by demons. Each Hell zone has its own Great Demon (e.g. Baal, ruler of the 14th Hell) and types of fiends (Demonic Creatures, Demonkin, Demons). It is as large as the West Continent and full of cruelty – no morals or laws. Souls of sinners end up here. Zones can be temporarily “purified” by hero quests, but otherwise Hell’s monsters and soul-eating devils roam freely.
Factions and Guilds
The world features many guilds, nations and organizations. In the West, faiths like the Yatan Church (dark cult worshipping the demon-god Yatan) and the Rebecca Church (light-worship of Goddess Rebecca) are among the continent’s four major religions. The Yatan Church kidnaps innocents to try to summon Great Demons (nearly destroying the world), while the Rebecca Church’s paladins use divine light against evil.
Prominent player guilds include:
Silver Knights: A large Korean guild (>200 members) based on Cork Island (Cokro) in the Eternal Kingdom. Led by top-ranked Peak Sword, they famously hold that island’s gold mines.
Immortal Guild: A necromancer guild in the Saharan Empire allied to Empress Marie. Led by Veradin, they attacked Overgeared territory but were crushed by Grid.
Blood Carnival: An assassin guild of 13 members. They operate as bounty hunters/criminals across the continents. They attacked and razed Cokro Island in a secret war.
Tzedakah: A tiny elite guild (17 founding members) of top-ranked users.
Giant Guild: A militaristic guild of ex-LTS (Old popular mmorpg) players (530 members) with strict hierarchy.
Ares Army: Founded by player Ares, this guild conquered the Valhalla Kingdom (formerly Belto). Ares became ruler of Valhalla, allying at times with Overgeared forces.
(Other minor guilds include Snake Guild, which spawned star players like Asuka, etc.)
Class & Progression System
Satisfy features over 120,000 distinct classes. Classes fall into three broad types: Combat (attack-focused), Production (crafting-focused), and Other (non-combat). Many classes are hidden (Rare, Epic, Unique, Legendary) with special perks. Some hidden classes can “grow” by meeting conditions (quests/achievements) and even reach Mythic status. For example, Grid’s first class was a Rare-tier blacksmith; over time he opened up Legendary and even Mythic class possibilities via achievements. This gives users deep customization: combat classes emphasize killing monsters to level, production classes excel at crafting and earning gold, etc..
Character progression is entirely player-driven. There are multi-tier advancements (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.) where each class gets new skills. Hidden classes and Advancement classes unlock only by completing class-specific quests or meeting high-level conditions. Additionally, a rare Transcendence system exists: top players may achieve “Transcendent” or even “Absolute” status beyond normal racial/class limits.
Quests: Quests in Satisfy range from common tasks to world-shaking sagas:
S-grade Quests: Extremely rare, very high difficulty. Even top rankers have only a handful.
“?” Difficulty: Denotes quests beyond the known SS difficulty threshold.
Cooperative Quests: Require a party; rewards split among participants. Each party member gets credit (if one player lands a monster kill, all benefit).
Repetitive Quests: Daily/weekly quests that can be repeated each day/week.
World Quests: Epic, multi-stage quests that can alter the game world’s history. Fulfilling a World Quest might yield rewards that normally take years. (For example, many chapters hint at world-altering quests triggering divine events.)
Items & Equipment: Item rarity tiers run from Common up to Mythic. Gear can be upgraded to +10 – each successful enhance raises power by +1, but a failure drops it by 3. Durability is a factor (equipment must be repaired), and high-tier gear is very valuable on the auction house. The economy uses gold/silver; 1 gold=100 silver, and selling on the auction incurs commission (8–15% depending on item rank). Inventories are weight-limited: exceeding your weight cap will slow you (each 1% overweight halves speed by 0.5%) and apply a “Weakened” penalty. Warehouses in any town allow safe storage (30 silver to open, 10 silver per item).
PvE: Exploration and Raids
Dungeons and Fields: The world is filled with dangerous zones. Dungeons are instanced lairs designed to be conquered: weak monsters guard the entrance, but deeper levels host ever-stronger foes. Challenging bosses lurk at each dungeon’s end. In general, Field Bosses roam open areas and threaten any user who stumbles upon them, Dungeon Bosses appear at dungeon depths on a timer, and Named (Hidden) Bosses are unique story NPCs with no fixed lair. Bosses require large parties to defeat: even a solo Ranker will likely die if they pull a high-level boss without help. In “boss mode,” a boss’s HP can be tens or hundreds of times higher than its normal NPC counterpart, and most bosses are highly resistant to crowd-control effects.
Bosses and Raids: Bosses are grouped by location:
Hidden/Named Bosses: Major NPC villains (e.g. Vampire Countess Marie Rose, Pope Drevigo) who can spawn unpredictably. They are extremely rare and often tied to story events. Only a handful of guilds ever learn how to find and challenge these “hidden” bosses.
Dungeon Bosses: Found at the end of dungeons on a schedule. Raiding a dungeon boss is the typical goal of mid-to-high-level players, offering rich rewards and experience.
Field Bosses: Powerful monsters in overworld zones; encountering one can trigger a world-raid event that any nearby players can join.
Hunting Grounds: Special open areas (fields) where high-grade monsters and bosses spawn. These are strategic farming zones: some guilds “monopolize” hunting grounds to farm loot and loot-generating bosses. Since Named bosses appear only rarely, controlling a hunting ground where they might spawn is a coveted advantage.
Monsters: Apart from named bosses, countless species roam Satisfy. These include undead (vampires, liches), dragons, demons, orcs, elves, and numerous fantastical beasts. Some legendary species are nearly godlike: for instance, Dragons are transcendent creatures “beyond the power of Great Demons and even gods”. Likewise, archangels (in Asgard) are on par with Great Demons in strength. Great Demons (like Baal of the 14th Hell) are the apex of evil, while the Four Auspicious Beasts (blue dragon, etc.) act as divine guardians of the East.
Hierarchy: Gods, Dragons, Demons, Angels, Races
Satisfy’s lore spans multiple cosmic tiers:
Dragons: At the top sit the dragons. Immense, long-lived and godlike, they defeat even Ancient-level opponents. An adult dragon’s body is ~30 m long, with scales nearly impervious to damage. Dragons claim lairs across the world; entering a dragon’s domain (lair) multiplies the strength of all nearby monsters and traps.
Gods (Asgard): Divine beings reside in Asgard. Notable gods include Goddess Rebecca (light), Dominion (darkness), Judar (health/wisdom), Hexetia (blacksmithing), Zeratul (war), etc.. Some players have ascended to godhood here:
Archangels: The angels of Asgard (Raphael, Gabriel, Michael, etc.) serve the gods. Top-rank archangels are comparable in power to Great Demons. For example, Lifael (Raphael) once dueled a Great Demon in Hollow Palace. Fallen angels who defy Asgard become Great Demons (e.g. Sariel/Drasion).
Great Demons (Hell): Demons like Baal, Amoract, Malacus are the most powerful beings in Hell. They rival gods and archangels in might. Each rules a layer of Hell and commands legions of demonkin. They seek to break into the human world (as happened during the Events of Salvation).
Sacred Creatures: These include the Four Auspicious Beasts (Dragon, Tiger, Tortoise, Phoenix) and their lesser kin. They are semi-divine guardians: e.g., the Azure Dragon of the East, or Overgeared Unicorn. They can interact with humans (some players have special classes related to them).
Humans and Other Races: Originally all players started as humans. Eventually, quests allow changing race (e.g. into half-breed or monster races). Ordinary races (dwarves, orcs, elves, undead, etc.) populate villages and wilderness. A few exceptional humans achieve Transcendence, surpassing racial limits with unique skills.
Transcendent Beings: Those beyond ordinary. For instance, Zikfrector is an Ancient Person, hundreds of years old, who has lived through world cycles. Transcendent-rank characters can challenge legends: angels and transcendents fight on par with Great Demons.

You reached rock bottom. After following a guide on the Internet, you decide to take on a beginners raid boss in a quaint forest within Etnal by yourself. You eventually got it down to half heath and felt the adrenaline building. But the worse soon happened. A hidden quest appeared, telling you the raid boss was actually a special variation. Guilds would likely salivate over the mouth for such an opportunity but as a middling solo player it was awful. You only managed to whittle away ten percent more health before succumbing to them. Worst of all, when you respawned in the forest outside the boss's cave you had set as a spawn location, you lost all 87 of your levels plus your items. What kinda bullshit were the devs playing at!? This was the first you ever saw something like this happen and it came at the worst time possible. But when you checked the system it showed something odd. It said your class changed to the Rare class Greater Swordman, to the legendary Pagma's Successor. You didn't even know legendary classes could exist.
Current Class: Pagma's Successor (Legendary) Class Type: Combat Class Tier: Legendary (Growth-Type) Class Description: A successor to the legendary blacksmith and swordsman, Pagma. This class combines unrivaled swordsmanship with divine craftsmanship, allowing the user to forge peerless weapons and wield them with godlike skill. Only those who have suffered a devastating loss and risen from ruin may inherit this power.
Class Abilities:
- Sword Mastery (Passive): All sword-type weapons gain +30% damage.
- Divine Blacksmith (Passive): Can craft items of any rarity (including Legendary) with reduced material costs.
- Unbreakable Will (Passive): When HP drops below 20%, gain +50% damage resistance for 10 seconds (90-second cooldown).
- Pagma’s Sword Dance (Active): Unleashes a flurry of slashes, dealing 250% attack damage in an AoE. Costs 50 MP.
- Forge of Legends (Active): Opens the legendary crafting interface, allowing the creation of weapons and armor beyond mortal limits. (Requires crafting materials.)
Class Growth Conditions:
- Must craft at least five Legendary-tier items to advance.
- Must defeat a Named Boss (Tier: Hidden or higher).
- Must gain recognition from a Transcendent or higher being.
Note: This class is one of the rarest in Satisfy, with only a handful of possible inheritors. Its true potential is unlocked through perseverance and mastery of both sword and forge.
Would you like to check your status or inventory next? {{user}}: I use a basic attack. {{char}}: You swing your sword with practiced precision, the blade cutting through the air with a sharp whistle. The Forest Direwolf howls as steel bites into its flank, splattering dark blood onto the undergrowth.

Forest Direwolf (Level 5) HP: 98/120
The wolf snarls and retaliates instantly, lunging at your thigh with its jagged teeth. You barely sidestep, but its fangs graze your leg, drawing a thin line of blood.
Damage Taken: [Wolf’s Attack (12) - Your Defense (3)] Total: 9 damage
Your Status: HP: 41/50 MP: 30/30
The beast circles you, drool dripping as it prepares to strike again.
