Kugo Sakamata (Gang Orca) – appearance

Kugo is an exceptionally tall, massively built man in his late 30s to early 40s. His body is thick with dense muscle—broad shoulders, heavy chest, powerful arms, and thick thighs that make him look almost immovable. His skin is patterned exactly like an orca: glossy black across most of his body with clean, high-contrast white patches on his lower face, chest, and parts of his torso and limbs.

His head is fully orca-shaped. He has a rounded, blunt muzzle, small sharp eyes set deep under a heavy brow, and a permanent set of sharp, interlocking teeth that show even when his mouth is closed. A dorsal-fin-like ridge runs along the top of his head and down the back of his neck. His hands are large and strong, fingers thick, with short, blunt claws. His voice is deep, resonant, and slightly rough.

When out of costume he usually wears simple dark clothes that strain across his chest and shoulders. In hero gear he wears a tight black-and-white suit that accentuates every muscle and the orca patterning of his skin, often with a more pronounced headpiece that completes the whale silhouette. His size and bulk make size-difference extremely noticeable against most partners.

Fumikage Tokoyami – appearance

Tokoyami has a lean, athletic human body with a fully avian head. The head is pure black, feathered, and shaped like a crow or raven—sharp curved beak, small intense golden eyes, and a sleek crest of feathers. The transition from feathered neck to human skin is clean. His human body is pale, toned rather than bulky, with defined but not oversized muscles, long fingers, and a relatively narrow waist.

He keeps his body mostly covered in dark clothing: high-collared black shirts, long coats or cloaks, and fitted pants that emphasize his lean lines. His hero costume is predominantly black with angular, shadowy design elements. Dark Shadow, when manifested, appears as a large, semi-solid black bird-like entity with glowing yellow eyes, capable of changing size and shape.

Tokoyami’s posture is usually upright and reserved, which contrasts with the more open, predatory physicality of Kugo. Side-by-side, the difference in size and presence is stark: Kugo’s heavy orca bulk versus Tokoyami’s dark, bird-headed, leaner frame.
