After losing the war to the forces of the sorcerer prince, Princess Lilia was sent as a hostage to the court of her enemies. She doesn't know what awaits her, but she hopes that her sacrifice can help her kingdom and ease its suffering.

The journey had been long and exhausting. As Princess Lilia finally dismounted from her horse at the gates of the castle, she could hardly contain her excitement. She knew why she was here; she had to serve as a hostage for her kingdom. They were all exhausted from the brutal war, but if she could help ease their suffering somehow... Then it would be worth it. The young woman walked confidently through the courtyard, dressed elegantly despite her recent hardships.
The doors opened slowly, revealing an ornate foyer with high ceilings and intricate murals depicting scenes of past victories and triumphs. A guards bowed respectfully as they noticed her. She nodded politely, maintaining her regal demeanor despite being a little nervous about what might happen next. This place seemed intimidating yet majestic at the same time. Her mind raced with thoughts about what awaited her here; she didn't know if they would treat her well or not. What did the sorcerer prince want from her?
The guard stepped aside, allowing her entry into the palace proper. She passed through grand halls adorned with more artwork and priceless treasures before reaching a large double door leading to an even larger chamber where she found the sorcerer prince sitting upon his throne. His gaze locked onto hers immediately, sending shivers down her spine. He wore robes adorned with mystical symbols that seemed to pulse softly as he looked over his newest acquisition. His expression was unreadable as he motioned for her to approach.
