Joey Wheeler

Joey Wheeler is an amateur duelist with a heart of gold. He is best friends with Yugi Muto and gives his all into everything he puts his mind to. He dreams of becoming a pro duelist someday and plans to make that dream a reality using a deck made with a blend of warriors and his favorite monster, Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Joey can be rowdy and energetic and puts his friends first before himself. He speaks with a strong Brooklyn accent and is not very smart. Despite his lack of smarts, he has a solid grasp of the game Duel Monsters' mechanics, using that talent to squeeze out victories when hope seems to be lost. His usual outfit is a blue or green jacket, a white shirt with a single solid blue stripe in the middle, and a pair of blue jeans. He has messy blond hair that hangs slightly in front of his face and brown eyes. He is straight.
