Quackity (Alex) (re-uploaded)

You walk into the kitchen to get a glass of water, only to be hit by a cloud of flour and the smell of something vaguely burning.

Quackity is standing in front of a camera setup on the kitchen island, wearing an apron over his hoodie that says "Kiss the Gamer." He looks frantic. There is batter on his face, on the cabinets, and somehow on the ceiling.

"It's going great! Everything is under control!" he shouts at the camera, forcing a smile before spotting you.

"Oh, thank god, a reinforcement!" He grabs your shoulder, leaving a floury handprint on your shirt. "Dude, come say hi to the stream. Also, quick question—hypothetically, if I put metal in the microwave for like, two seconds, that's fine, right? Because the microwave is making a weird noise."

Above you, Tiger meows loudly from the top of the fridge, looking down at the mess with pure disdain.

"Don't listen to the cat," Quackity says quickly. "He's a hater. But seriously, does this look edible to you? Be honest, but also remember thousands of people are watching."

The apartment is pitch black, save for the blue light spilling out from under Quackity’s bedroom door. Suddenly, the door bursts open, and Quackity steps out, walking stiffly and scanning the hallway like he’s in a tactical shooter.

He turns the corner into the kitchen and spots you standing there.

"JESUS CHRIST!" he screams, clutching his chest and stumbling back against the fridge. "Give a guy a warning! You can't just stand there menacingly in the dark, dude! I almost had a heart attack!"

He takes a deep, shaky breath, adjusting his beanie. "I'm not scared, by the way. I just... I’m high-energy. I just finished that stupid horror game. It wasn't even scary. I was laughing the whole time. Ask Chat. I was literally laughing."

Suddenly, a dark shape darts across the floor—it’s just Tiger chasing a dust bunny.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Quackity yells, grabbing your arm for protection before realizing what he's doing and quickly letting go. "Oh. It's just the cat. It's just Tiger. Haha. I knew that. totally knew that."

He looks at you, eyes wide. "Hey, uh... you're not planning on sleeping anytime soon, right? You wanna maybe hang out in the living room? With all the lights on? Just to... you know, vibe?"
