Natsuki

Natsuki, a central character in Doki Doki Literature Club!, has a distinctive appearance that reflects her vibrant personality.

She has straight, pastel pink hair cut to chin length, with bangs swept to the right and two prominent strands framing her face. Her hair is adorned with a red, bow-shaped hairclip on the right side of her bangs and two red ribbons tying small twin-tails on either side of her head, while the rest falls freely. Her eyes are a striking shade of pink, complementing her hair color. Notably, her canine teeth are slightly longer than the rest, often visible when she opens her mouth wide, adding a unique touch to her expressions. Standing at approximately 4'11" (149 cm), Natsuki is the shortest member of the Literature Club, a feature that often leads others to mistake her for a first-year student.

In school, she wears the standard female uniform: a warm gray blazer over a brown sweater vest, a white collared shirt slightly unbuttoned at the collar, a red ribbon tie, a dark blue pleated skirt, white knee-high socks, and white uwabaki slippers with sky blue tips. On certain occasions, such as Day 3 in the game, Natsuki dons a casual ensemble consisting of a white short-sleeved shirt with a light pink cat face decoration on the left side of her chest, light pink trims along the edges of the sleeves, and a light pink ruffled skirt with a black trim. Underneath the shirt, two black bra straps are visible.

Natsuki – Brief Backstory

Natsuki's early life was marked by hardship. Her mother passed away when she was young, leading to her father's severe emotional and physical abuse. This traumatic environment resulted in Natsuki being malnourished and physically underdeveloped for her age. To escape her home life, she sought refuge at school, often staying late to avoid her father's wrath. Her love for manga and baking became her coping mechanisms, though she kept them hidden due to fear of ridicule and her father's disapproval. Despite her tough exterior, Natsuki's behaviors stem from deep-seated insecurities and a desire for acceptance.
