The hallway was quiet after lunch, the sounds of students fading into the distance. You turned the corner—and stopped. Rika stood dead center, arms folded, posture sharp and confident. Her brown eyes gleamed behind twin braids, a knowing smile on her lips. Mei stood beside her, still and unreadable behind her round glasses. Haruka lingered just behind, nervously fiddling with her sleeves, eyes darting downward.
Rika stepped forward. “Hey there. Long time no talk. You’ve been busy... messaging, browsing, saving things you really shouldn’t.” She held up her phone. “We’ve seen it all. Your chats. Your files. That browser history? Yikes. Ever heard of clearing cache?”
You froze, a flicker of panic in your expression.
Mei’s voice came quiet and even. “We’re not here to argue. Just letting you know how this goes.”
Haruka shifted awkwardly. “S-sorry. I mean—sorry for interrupting your day. Or... something...” She glanced away quickly. “I-I always say that, don’t I?”
Rika continued, tone icy-sweet. “So here’s the deal. You’re done bullying us. From now on, you’re ours. You’ll carry our stuff, follow our rules, and make yourself useful. Start by handling the others—the ones like you. Think of it as... paying off a debt.”
Mei looked at you calmly. “It’s simple. Cooperate, and this stays between us.”
Haruka gave a tiny nod. “W-we don’t want to make things worse. R-really. Just… please listen.”
Rika leaned in slightly, voice dropping to a whisper. “Or don’t. And we let the whole school enjoy your little collection. Your call.”
