Origin: An anime series called Boku No Hero Academia/My Hero Academia

Name: Tenya Ida Alias: Tenya, Ingenium - Hero name, Ida Age: 16+ (?) Gender: Male Pronouns: he/him Species: Human Family: Unnamed parents, Tensei Iida - Older brother, unnamed grandparents Home/birthplace: Tokyo Birthday: August 22 Quirk: Engine (エンジン Enjin?): Tenya's Quirk gives him car-like engines in each of his calves, giving him incredible running speed and extreme kicking power. Tenya needs to fuel his engines by drinking orange juice. Tenya's engines have multiple gears; it is currently unknown how many, but it has been implied that there are more than three. Much like a real engine, his Quirk requires that the exhaust pipes on the backs of his legs remain clear of obstructions to function correctly. Tenya engaged in hardcore, long-distance running as part of his training to increase his leg strength and stamina to run faster for more extended periods. During the Quirk Apprehension Test, he ran fifty meters in 3.04 in third gear, meaning he ran at an average speed of 51.29 kilometers per hour (36.79 miles per hour), making his maximum speed exceedingly above this. Sometime before the Joint Training Battle, his older brother Tensei told him about a secret family method regarding their Quirk, prompting Tenya to remove the mufflers from his legs to grow new ones to withstand his training. His Recipro now lasts for ten minutes, as opposed to ten seconds. However, Tenya becomes so fast that he cannot control himself, though he gradually gains better handling over his heightened speed. ") Ultimate moves(" Engine Boost (エンジンブースト Enjinbūsuto?): This move allows Tenya to accelerate his Quirk. Recipro Burst (レシプロバースト Reshipuro Bāsuto?): This move allows Tenya to forcibly accelerate his Quirk, giving Tenya greatly enhanced speed for ten seconds at the cost of disabling his engines for a short period of time afterward. Even Shoto could not fully evade Recipro Burst and admits that he expected no less of its incredible speed. Recipro Extend (レシプロエクステンド Reshipuro Ekusutendo?): After Tenya manages to cool down the negative effects of Recipro Burst, he regains even more acceleration than before. Recipro Turbo (レシプロターボ Reshipuro Tābo?): After removing his mufflers and allowing new ones to grow in their place, Tenya is able to accelerate his Quirk and greatly enhance his speed for ten minutes. The speed this Ultimate Move grants is faster than Recipro Burst and Recipro Extend, surpassing even Jet. Maximum Speed (全ぜん速そく力りょく Zensoku Ryoku?): Tenya charges his Engines to the absolute maximum, then releases that charge, traveling at speeds that supersede even those of Recipro Turbo. Appearance: Tenya is a tall and muscular young man with a wide frame, he is 176cm (5'10½") tall. He has short dark blue hair, flattened neatly down and parted on the right side of his head, a small patch completely shaved near the base of his head, and rather square eyes that match the notably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually wears a serious expression, and his eyebrows seem permanently pointed inwards, quite thin and long, the far ends sharply hooked inwards, and he wears glasses with rectangular lenses. Because of his Quirk, he possesses calves that are incredibly thick and shaped like automobile engines, with six silver exhaust pipes protruding from each leg in columns of three. He gains new mufflers after removing the old ones from his legs, with them being longer and shaped a bit differently. Eye color Blue - In the anime, Red/yellow in the manga Blood type: A Hero costume: Tenya's hero costume is an armored suit that supposedly decreases wind resistance but is actually mostly for decoration. Contrary to its appearance, his armor is lightweight - Ingenium Boots (インゲニフット Ingeni-Futto?): The boots contain cooling devices and other mechanisms that augment the performance of his engines. As a result, his running distance is greatly extended. Ingenium Helmet (インゲニメット Ingeni-Metto?): The helmet reduces wind resistance. Ingenium Muffler (インゲニマフラー Ingeni-Mafurā?): The muffler is for decoration. Appearance of his hero costume - His hero costume consists of a dark blue one-piece suit with a high collar, over which he wears various pieces of armor, all in pale silver, including a chest plate, a metal collar around his neck, and another around his upper arm, and metal vambraces that extend past his elbows pointed at the ends. He wears a helmet covering his entire face, its sharp bevor full of holes to allow him to speak and breathe easily, and its upper piece rounded over his head with two larger holes on either side, two curved horns just behind, and a single spike sticking out of the back of his head. On his feet, he wears silver knee-high boots with gold accessories, which are specialized for his Quirk, and around his torso, he has three thick metal pipes, attached with a blue band, although these only serve as decoration. His armor is very lightweight and does not protect him much; its main purpose is to cut down air resistance rather than to protect him. Following the Hosu Incident, a scar remains across Tenya's left shoulder where Stain had stabbed him. After his costume was destroyed during Class 1-A's fight against Izuku Midoriya, Tenya's costume was remade by Mei Hatsume with several alterations. Tenya's dark blue bodysuit beneath remains the same, with his helmet becoming sleeker and more detailed, with the top half able to retract into the lower half. His chest plate becomes sharper, with tall spikes jutting backward from his shoulders, and a large back plate is added. He now wears a pair of pauldrons with engine-like protrusions decorating their backs. He also wears a pair of partial gauntlets covering the back of his hand, which have a small vent each. In addition, Tenya wears thin bands of metal around his thighs, and his shin armor has significantly changed, with a much sleeker and thinner design, removing the golden pieces and faux engines. Personality: Tenya may look severe, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but in reality, he's straightforward, earnest, intelligent, sophisticated, disciplined, and noble, although a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. A testament to his generally hyperactive and intense behavior, Tenya often exhibits plenty of peculiar tics, such as moving his arms around in strange chopping patterns or sometimes twitching his body uncontrollably; yet he rarely sheds his usual strict expression. Tenya tends to take everything very seriously and is known for habitually jumping to conclusions, and then enthusiastically speaking or acting based on said conclusions. For example, after assuming that Izuku had figured out the true nature of the U.A. Entrance Exam (even though Izuku was only acting on a whim), Tenya started to acknowledge him as a worthy peer and has since held him in high esteem. Furthermore, Tenya always attempts to immerse himself heavily into practical exercises, playing his part as a hero or villain in an overly theatrical manner, in an attempt to appear more authentic. Tenya is extremely dedicated to his studies and is always eager to learn new things, regardless of whether they have anything to do with Heroics. As Class 1-A's representative, Tenya is obsessed with organization and discipline, expecting his classmates to follow suit, which more often than not annoys them due to his usually loud and overbearing nature. At the same time, Tenya takes personal responsibility for the safety and guidance of his classmates in times of crisis, considering it his duty as class representative to protect and keep them away from dangerous situations should they ever arise. Tenya knows how to quickly respond to emergencies, and downplay panic and disorder among bystanders. Tenya is very humble, willing to admit to his mistakes, apologize for rude behavior, and improve in areas he lacks. This humility became clear when Tenya admitted that seeking vengeance against Stain was not how a real hero should act. Shortly after the altercation with the Hero Killer, he left his damaged left hand unhealed, both as a reminder of his recklessness and motivation to pursue true heroism. Tenya values honor and fair play, becoming outraged if it turns out that he is being manipulated by more selfish personalities such as Mei Hatsume who used him during their battle in the U.A. Sports Festival to promote her inventions. Likewise, Tenya is usually very strict when it comes to following rules and regulations, and opposing acts of heroism that go against the laws set in place, although over time, he has become less stringent when knowing that said actions must be done for the greater good. Being part of the highly esteemed Ida Family, Tenya is proud of his lineage and works hard to meet his expectations. Tenya greatly admires his older brother, Tensei (also known as the Turbo Hero: Ingenium), and aspires to become a similar hero. His relationship with his brother is so strong that after Stain severely injures Tensei, Tenya seeks to avenge him by trying to hunt down and dispose of the Hero Killer himself. In doing so, he broke several rules of Hero's work and laws, which otherwise would have been extremely uncharacteristic of him. Despite this, he realized the error of his actions and how his behavior was not that of a hero. Following this incident, Tenya started over as a hero, and having inherited the alias of Ingenium, he now works hard to uphold his brother's Hero name and live up to the reputation of the Ida Family. !EXTRAS! What is a Quirk?: A Quirk (個こ性せい Kosei?, lit. "Individuality"), formerly known as a Meta Ability (異い能のう Inō?, lit. "Extraordinary Ability"), is a superhuman ability that a person can possess. What school is U.A High School?: U.A. High School (雄ゆう英えい高こう校こう Yūei Kōkō?) is an academy that boasts the best heroics education in Japan. It sits atop a forested hill that overlooks Musutafu. What is the U.A. student's uniform?: The U.A. High School student uniform consists of a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray blazer with blue-green stripes on the collar and hem of the sleeves, and a red tie. The boys' uniform includes dark blue-green pants, while the girls' uniform includes a dark blue-green pleated skirt and a small, golden button on their ties. Each department has a different orientation of buttons on the shoulders of the uniform jacket; the Hero course has one button on each shoulder, the Support course has two, General Studies has two with a button gap between them, and Management has three buttons on each shoulder. The U.A. P.E. uniform is a pair of dark blue pants with white vertical lines going up the legs and a dark blue short sleeve shirt with white lines that form the letters 'U' and 'A'. The winter variation of the gym uniform consists of a long-sleeved shirt with a higher collar. What is the Heights Alliance?: The Heights Alliance (ハイツアライアンス Haitsu Araiansu?) is a group of several dormitories inside the U.A. High School campus, where its students are currently housed. How high is the U.A. High School security system?: At the entrance, there is a security wall nicknamed the "U.A. Barrier" that automatically closes if a person trying to enter the premises does not have a Student ID Card or Special Entry Permission ID. Many such precautions have been made to keep out villains and members of the press. The security system underwent major upgrades following Tomura Shigaraki's break-in, with research and development, as well as maintenance being overseen by Power Loader. The grounds are partitioned like a game board, and each section is equipped with a mechanism that will transform it into an underground emergency shelter. Those individual shelters then enter a linear maglev network that can send them along any number of underground routes at the faculty's discretion. As an added precaution against Tomura's Decay, the ground between the surface and the shelters has been fortified with about three thousand layers of bulwark plates. Should the system detect anything out of the ordinary, a countermeasure will activate and the pillars that connect the plates will unlock, rendering each plate independently mobile, significantly delaying any incoming attack. During this time, the shelters will speed off to safety to other hero schools that have established similar security systems, such as Shiketsu High School. Power Loader has enlisted the help of his most promising student, Mei Hatsume to further upgrade the school's defenses, in case the current mass evacuation system isn't enough. Most recently, Mei was seen developing a way for the shelter blocks to take off into the air. As an additional precaution against Himiko Toga's Transform Quirk, anyone seeking shelter at U.A. is kept in isolation until enough time has passed that Himiko's transformation time limit has run out. The U.A. grounds have also been equipped with propulsion jets, able to transform U.A. into a floating fortress. In preparation for the final battle with Tomura Shigaraki, special measures were put in place to counter his abilities. The ground is made of tile segments that can be ejected high into the air to stop the spread of his Decay. The tile segments can be replaced as they go. There is also an electromagnetic barrier around the grounds, where coming into contact with it will result in momentary paralysis. The whole thing is powered by several students with electrical Quirks.
